Sapphire Martini....

I'm linking this post to my Friday Night Drinks party. A place where I'll ask a different question each week and you can leave your answer in the comments box. If you do it that way then previous posts can be taken from your library and re posted over at my place. My aim is for us all to get to know each other better just like we would if we all met at the pub. My contribution for this week is a Sapphire Martini which has an amazing color. I'm not a big cocktail drinker but if the moment is extra special then I'll splurge.

Enjoy,

4 Ice cubes
2 Measures of gin
1/2 Measure of blue Curacao
1 Red maraschino cherry

Shake well, pour.....

  4. How pretty!! I love blue drinks! They are so tropical even when they aren't really meant to be. This should be sipped on a Caribbean shore, to match the water :)

  10. I just used up my Curacao making a pitcher of Electric Lemonade for our camping trip, but your martini sounds fantastic, too. Looks like I need to restock. Thanks for sharing.

  12. THIS MIGHT SOUND KIND OF STRANGE FOR A MARTINI, BUT NEXT TIME YOU MAKE A SAPPHIRE MARTINI, TRY ADDING A LITTLE PINEAPPLE JUICE FOR SOME ADDED FLAVOR ------- PUTS A LITTLE KICK TO IT !!!!!!!!! JUST A TOUCH THOUGH , YOU DON'T WANT TO COMPLETELY CHANGE THE BLUE COCKTAIL . MY FAVORITE IS A WASHINGTON APPLE MARTINI , A GUYS AND GALS DRINK , ITS EQUAL PARTS OF CROWN ROYAL CANDIAN WHISKEY, SOUR APPLE PUCKER SCHNAPPS , AND CRANBERRY JUICE . I ALSO ADD A SPLASH OF PINEAPPLE JUICE TO MAKE IT TARTE .YOURE GONNA LOVE THIS ONE !!!!!!! WONDERFUL APPLE FLAVOR !!!!
